Check out this totally crazy creature! The video is in Japanese, but just watch this shark's monstrous MOUTH. Oy!Nature, you give me nightmares. Sweet, sweet nightmares.
Dude. Creepy. I had Nick watch it, and he said the guys says something like "When I first saw the Goblin Shark, I thought it was a demon." Then he describes the guy holding his arm out for the bite. Then at the end he says something like "It disappeared into the dark."
I'm a writer & artist. I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband Jim (also an artist) and our small daughter, Clementine Pie. My novels are Dreamdark: Blackbringer, Dreamdark: Silksinger, and Lips Touch, which was a finalist for the 2009 National Book Award. My next novel, Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Little, Brown) will be out September 27, 2011. I believe our dreams are REAL THINGS, not wisps and air, and it is our job in this life to make them come true, because no one else will do it for us, and because this is our one and only "wild & precious life"!

Thanks, Natalie! That is totally what he SHOULD be saying. Demon, indeed :-)
Helloooo, Mr. Shark, whose upper jaw is not even connected to his head.
Okay, SO wrong.
I know nature is beautiful in all its incarnations and everything but holy hell, that shark is messed up!
