Another belly growth-spurt!

Dang, look at this! People, I still have more than three months to go. How big is this thing going to get???

Still feeling GREAT. Knock on wood: no back pain or trouble sleeping or any of the side effects in the books except for some mild shortness of breath when I "exercise" (by which I mean: walk.)

If you live in the Portland/Vancouver area (Vancouver WA, not Canada), I'm speaking at Barnes & Noble there this afternoon for their biannual Educator Appreciation Night. The event if 4:30 to 6; not sure exactly when I'll be speaking. Should be fun! Store info/directions HERE. There might be a couple of ARCs involved!

Oh! And I must show you, my first few Ratherstings!

Aren't they beautiful?!?!

These and more (Jim and I have not yet taken our own Rathersting portraits, but we will) will be added to a "Rathersting gallery" and linked in my sidebar for all eternity. If you want to get in on the act, see the Chocolate & Tattoo bribe OR send $1 (per pair; to cover postage and tattoos) to the P.O. box address in my sidebar -- don't forget to include your address!

It will get so big that at one point you will expect to find a little flame beneath you, urging your balloon into the stratosphere. And then you will still have two weeks to go. :)

hahaha - I like how Jordan put it.

So glad you are having a great pregnancy, Laini. I LOVED being pregnant. Enjoy every precious moment. :)

You look amazing! My belly is about the same size as yours now, so you've caught up at least!

Yesterday I met a woman in a store. Our bellies collided in one of those 'oops, I forgot to calculate the belly'-moments. Turned out she was also pregnant. - You're probably due soon, then, she said, eyeing my baketball. But we were both 23 weeks along. Man. I hope he doesn't turn out to be Hagrid.

What a lovely lovely lovely round belly! You do seem to be glowing (and it's not just the hair). And I say, who cares how big that tummy gets! The bigger the better . . . :)

You look absolutely fabulous and the tattoos are brilliant! Thanks so much for the sweet note on my LJ, too. I really appreciate the support and good wishes as I bite my nails waiting for my book to come out!

Yeah, Elise says the bigger the better b/c she had TWINS.

Laini, you look marvelous. Thank goodness you don't live in lower Alabama or somewhere just as hot and humid or your July would be exhausting!

You look just wonderful Fattypants!!!! I think you should start wearing the tattoos too and then you will look extra hip and cool and one day she can show people what her mom looked like when she was pregnant with her!

Ah, but you're in the 2nd trimester, which is why it feels so good. Enjoy it while you can!

Bigger? Oh yes...so much bigger...

You look so cute!

I so wish I could come to one of your events. I watched some project book babe videos and dreamed the next night that I had attended.

Perhaps you are growing a GIANT PUMPKIN and not a baby. You might want to get another ultrasound, just to be sure.

You look beautiful :)

EeeeeK!! LOOK at THAT! lol! Love it.

I bet you have a biggy, I bet. And you will NOT BELIEVE how big you will get! Haw Haw! ;)
I could not CATCH my breath when I walked across a room! Every one I worked with gave me crap-- until the monster was born, and then they felt bad. LOL!

You look fabulous...seriously glowing. (And I don't think it's just a reflection from your hair). I love the suggestion above to apply Rathersting tattoo and take photos for future edification of your child.

OMG: You are soooo cute! I am sooo excited for you and Jim.

Writing for kids is cool but having them is way more exciting.

Fletcher of the Day said...

Wow, girlfriend, what have a Jim and Your mom been feeding you?

I love the picture of your belly, but it makes me feel so far away...which, actually, I am.

Hopefully I'll meet the baby before she gets bat mitzvah'd. If not, that's a reason to visit.
