Christmas Writing Room

It's Christmas in my writing room too. Here is the pink tree, decorated with cocktail umbrellas and silver glitter letters that spell "Clementine". I'm thrilled to own a pink tree. Thrilled!
And if you're wondering what that little black-framed picture is on the wall, and perhaps that shiny disc hanging from the pillar, then let me show you!
tee hee hee. My favorite new decor :-)

How is your decorating going?

Your writing room is fantastic! I love your choice in colors and that shiny disk is very attractive.
My decorating was finished before Thanksgiving... I can't wait!

Congrats again on the award and I think little Clementine is the luckiest little girl in the world.

My decorating was done on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I like to enjoy the season as long as possible. :)

Last night I saw an orange Christmas tree in the window of a store in the mall. How weird is that?

Pink trees and award medals make for the best decorations, don't they? :)

Your green bench is beautiful. The shiny new medal and certificate are great too :) Your tree looks feathery soft. Is it?

I love your writing room and the new decorations. Not very many pink trees in Norway. We're all about real trees, and they look a little different from American trees. A little more air between the branches and between the ornaments, too. I love both ways. We don't decorate the tree until the night before Christmas (which is December 23 here), and that will be at my mother's. But I do have some advent stuff up here in Marselis as well: Star in the kitchen window, advent calendar and larch branches on the wood burning stove, four advent candles, my bambi and a snowglobe, and some clove apples and incense for scent, and of course plenty of clementines! The rest comes up tonight, when Lin and Inger Merete come over for white gløgg and It's a wonderful life!

Hi Laini!
It's Beth Ann, the crazy vendor from Crafty Wonderland who came leaping out of her booth to say hello to you :-)
Love, love, love the xmas decorations! I am always in a funk over the fact that I never have time for decorations this time of year... Since my day job is making jewelry, this is when even my writing gets shoved to the side. Bah humbug.
Lucky for me my husband had pity and when I got home at 10pm last night, he had set up a lovely fiberglass tree that changes colors. Hooray!
