Still nope

Dagnabbit. We have to go into the hospital tomorrow for a non-stress test. Unless of course labor begins tonight. Arg, the waiting! Come out, child. Come out!

Oh, I have so been there. In another week or so you won't remember the wait at all. Your little family is in my prayers. :)

I know exactly what we need to do here! We need to go to Cupcake Jones and then line a dozen tiny cupcakes across your belly and lure the baby out with the promise of marionberry cupcakes, lemon coconut, and chocolate fudge frosting and filling-filled cupcakes. I will go pick them up myself. Just say the word and I am on it!

That's how my labour started for my first - I was booked to go to the hospital for a non-stress test and started labour during the night before!

Good luck!

Sending lots of good thoughts & wishes your way!
p.s. I love that cupcake idea, mentioned above - never know, it might work, and if it doesn't well, at least you & yout "Anonymous" friend have some treats to help pass the time!
(if that's who I think it might be - a certain MaRVeLoUs lady - please tell her 'Hi!' for me :)

We did a NST once with my firstborn. The doctor had us(as a couple) do the dreaded "nipple stimulation". It caused contractions but we got the giggles and laughed so hard for the next 20 minutes that I thought they were going to kick us out!!! Of course all that laughing messed up their "monitoring" so it was pointless but it sure was fun.

If you want to get things going try s*e*x. It can't hurt!

I'm hoping you've had Baby by now, but just in case, start vacuuming up a storm. Seriously.

Good thoughts your way!

I love all these suggestions! I tried acupuncture and did start having slow contractions...
Frankly, sex did nothing for bringing on labor but I know others who said it was like clockwork! And then there were the constant walks and the baths...them babies are stubborn! But wouldn't you be if you had to leave the comfort of The Womb?
