Silksinger cover -- revealed!

He heeee! Look at this. Awesome, no?
Meet Hirik and Whisper! Soon you will have a chance to get to know them, and of course to see Magpie and Talon again too. And the crows. Perhaps even a certain unpleasant imp will make an appearance . . .

The Silksinger ARC (Advance Reader's Copy) is going to the printer tomorrow! Yay!!! Stay tuned here in the coming month or two. There just might be a giveaway. (Actual pub date is September.)

Beautiful art by the fabulous Jim Di Bartolo, of course!

  5. Gorgeous! I love how both Magpie and Whisper are blindingly beautiful in a grown up sort of way, or at least not a childish way, without any pushy sexiness. And I like the cutlass. Is is a cutlass? Or a saber?

And what are they bracing for? It must be somtehing bad.. I love it when a cover poses questions. Well done, Jim! And well done you, for seeing your 'baby' off to print.

Now for some cake, since you can't have wine.

  28. Hey everybody! I just wanted to pipe in and give a HUGE heartfelt "THANK YOU!!" for the wonderfully kind words -- it means so much!

And rest assured that the story in SILKSINGER is every bit as good as BLACKBRINGER -- and possibly (it's tough to say!) even better. I freaking LOVE IT! (Great job Sweetie!)

    Warmly,
    Jim
