Does this sound like you?

To anyone who has ever given up writing something because it was too hard:

Don't be a wimp! That's no way to go through life! Get back to work!

Then, meet me for coffee and complaining. Writing is hard. You do it anyway.

That's all.

lordylordylordy that is very tough love- like a big fattypat kick in the writing part of the buttocks. What ever happened to rolling around in cupcake frosting when the going gets tough?

That's what I tell myself AND the 6th grade students I teach. Writing is hard, but so very satisfying.

Butt In Chair. BIC. Only way to get it done.

Ooh, I know! Let's all meet for coffee in Morocco at 4 o'clock today. Okay? See you there!

Woo-hoo, Morocco! That means I don't have to write!

Yes, Christine! Complaining about writing makes a lovely change to actually writing!! And while we're in Morocco, we might as well shop, you know :-)

Oooh. I'm in for coffee and complaining in Morocco, too. Will it be scented with cardamom? Can't beat that.

Yipes-- this wasn't TO me, was it?. Sometimes I need to be yelled at. Just as my mom, friends, strangers, siblings, teachers, ex's...

Let's see, halfway between Atlanta and Portland? How to do you feel about the Great Plains area? Any Plain in particular that tickle your fancy?

Seriously, though, wouldn't it be fun to have a writer chat one day or eve?

Gah, I missed it! And I was in the neighbourhood, too, mentally at least.

Or wait... No, I didn't! You're nine hours behind! That means I just have time to get in the mirror balloon and warp there. Whereabouts?

My mantra is sit down and make yor fingers move. Even if its drivel, it's your drivel and sometimes the best stuff I create.

BTW- I love your pink hair!
